Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,
We were notified today (Thursday, Jan. 14) that a student in our high school has developed the critical symptom (loss of taste or smell) of COVID-19. The student has been moved into isolation. Additionally, 18 students and three staff members have been identified as “Close Contacts” and have also moved into quarantine.
All impacted families and students have been contacted via email and will also receive follow-up contact from the STEM Leadership Team.
This is our eighth case at STEM so we’d like to reiterate that we are taking steps that are in line with local, state and public health department guidelines.
For more information about COVID-19 Guidelines, visit our STEM COVID-19 Information Hub.
