COVID-19 Information for Families

Friday, Jan. 29, 2021

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,

We were notified today (Friday, Jan. 29) that a student in our Secondary School is a presumed positive for COVID-19. The student has been moved into isolation. Additionally, 20 students and three staff members have been identified as “Close Contacts” and have also moved into quarantine. 

All impacted families and students have been contacted via email and will also receive follow-up contact from the STEM Leadership Team. STEM appreciates the cooperation of all students and families through this process.

This is our 11th case at STEM so we’d like to reiterate that we are taking steps that are in line with local, state and public health department guidelines.

Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,

We were notified today (Wednesday, Jan. 27) that a student in our Secondary School is a presumed positive for COVID-19. The student has been moved into isolation. Additionally, 25 students and four staff members who were at school on Thursday, Jan. 21 have been identified as “Close Contacts” and have also moved into quarantine. Six additional students were quarantined due to exposure to this student over the weekend.

All impacted families and students have been contacted via email and will also receive follow-up contact from the STEM Leadership Team. STEM appreciates the cooperation of all students and families through this process.

This is our 10th case at STEM so we’d like to reiterate that we are taking steps that are in line with local, state and public health department guidelines.
