Kandace Lytle is in her second year as the College & Career Counselor at STEM!
Originally, from Houston, Texas. she attended Southwestern University for her undergraduate degrees in English, Philosophy and Dance. After graduating from SU, she attended Texas State University for her Master of Arts in Literature and Applied Philosophy & Ethics. Prior to working at STEM, she was a College & Career Readiness Advisor in Texas. She has taught at both the high school and college levels in the Humanities, as well professional development to teachers K – 12, while working as a district-level teacher development specialist and facilitator.
In her spare time, she am a freelance writer, published author, improv & stand-up comic, yoga instructor, chef-in-training, cat mom and live-music enthusiast. She hopes to instill a love for the humanities and arts in our STEM students.
