Lauchlin Blue started teaching at STEM in the Engineering department in 2021. He teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade engineering courses, as well as the middle school TSA. Lauchlin is also an advisor with both middle and high school TSA. Lauchlin got his bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering from Auburn University and his M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from CU Boulder. He has also worked as a research fellow at the NIH in Baltimore and taught 6th grade math in Aurora for several years.
Lauchlin is originally from Alabama but moved to Colorado in 2015. In his free time he enjoys watching college football, snowboarding at Winter Park, and backpacking.
