Physical education has always been Megan Lipe’s passion, as she grew up as an athlete and a fitness enthusiast. She loves to teach students about how to move their bodies to and learn skills that they can carry with them for a lifetime that can lead to a healthy lifestyle.
Lipe grew up in Colorado and went to High School in Fort Collins, Colo. She played many different sports but focused on softball in high school. As she grew older she has found an interest in CrossFit, Functional Fitness and Yoga. She has also grown a passion for International sports, not commonly found in America. She takes these skills and knowledge to share them with her students in their units.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a K-12 Teaching license at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo. This was her first year at teaching, however she has coached softball for five years, worked at summer sports camps, and worked in an administrative position at a summer camp in 2019.
She lives with her three dogs and her boyfriend and loves to be active and try new things often. She finds new ways of being active. She has also found a passion for traveling around the world tasting amazing food, and meeting new people.
