Mrs. Tammy Tryon has been with STEM since 2014, where she started as a volunteer when her now college-aged twins began their 6th-grade year at STEM, which was at that time just a 6th-to-12th grade school. She became a permanent STEM staff member just a few months later, starting as an Educational Assistant. Then in 2015, she transitioned to the Business Office team as an assistant and general purchaser.
Before STEM, Tammy spent 9 1/2 years with the US Postal Service and eight years with UPS, and she also took a brief break from the workforce, enjoying her time with her young twins as a stay-at-home mom.
When she’s not placing orders for the school, assisting with bookkeeping activities, or shuttling packages around the building, you’ll find Tammy enjoying quality time with her family, often in the great outdoors – especially the mountains, or planning her next family vacation or weekend getaway.
