Below is a letter to the community from Dr Eucker, as well as Ms Reese. A Message from Dr Penny Eucker:

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,

I share with you today that Hannah Reese has accepted a leadership position with a charter school in Aurora. It is a fantastic opportunity for her and we celebrate her courage to leave the school she has nurtured for the past 10 years for a new challenge. She has made a tremendous impact on the success of our school and she will be missed.

During her time at STEM, Hannah has served in many roles. More recently, she was serving as our Recovery Coordinator and our liaison to the STEM Center for Strength, a position that is funded through state and federal grants. In addition to this role, she also assisted with our compliance for district requirements.

As Hannah transitions out of her role, we will post her Recovery Coordinator position internally first, and then to the community. Her role in assisting with district requirements is one that has been and will continue to be shared across departments.

A true testament to her character, Hannah has assured us that she will remain accessible for any questions during the transition. She will remain part of our community through deep connections and friendship. We wish her amazing success in her new endeavor.

Sincerely,

P.J. Eucker PhD, Executive Director

A Message from Hannah Reese

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,

I have been honored to work at STEM School Highlands Ranch for the past nine years, first as an English teacher, and then as a member of the STEM Leadership Team. I have been fortunate to be a part of some amazing experiences and successes and I will cherish those as I move into my new role.

This community has helped me grow as both an educator and a school leader and I will take what I’ve learned as I move into my new position as the Head of School at a High School in Aurora.

I will always be a part of the STEM community and will remain connected to the staff at STEM as a resource if needed. Thank you to the entire STEM community for your support and kindness. I leave STEM in excellent hands. Ones that I know will continue to lead our entire community in the right direction.

Sincerely,

Hannah Reese
