COVID-19 Information for Families

COVID-19 update slide

Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,

We were notified today (Saturday, Feb. 6) that a student in our Elementary School is a presumed positive for COVID-19. The student has been moved into isolation. Additionally, 12 students and three staff members have been identified as “Close Contacts” and have also moved into quarantine.

The last date that the student was at STEM was on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 2. This is not related to the decision to have Elementary School go Virtual on Thursday, Feb. 4.

All impacted families and students have been contacted via email and will also receive follow-up contact from the STEM Leadership Team. STEM appreciates the cooperation of all students and families through this process.

This is our 12th case at STEM so we’d like to reiterate that we are taking steps that are in line with local, state and public health department guidelines.

Sincerely,

STEM School Highlands Ranch Communications
