Dear Elementary School Families,

Thank you families for supporting us and your student during CMAS. CMAS can be stressful for many of our students, but they persevered, and did an amazing job throughout the week. They worked really hard on all their tests. We had perfect attendance in many classrooms, which means minimal disruptions as we move forward with make-ups. Now that testing is over we begin the final fun filled weeks of the year.  We have many activities planned for all grades. Please be sure to mark your calendars and be on the lookout for communication regarding all of our end of year activities.

NO Selling Items: We’ve recently noticed an increase in students bringing items such as candy, soda, and fidgets to sell to one another during the school day. Selling items at school is not allowed, as it can lead to distractions and conflicts among peers. If a student is found selling items, they will be asked to return the money, and the item will be returned to its original owner. Families of the students involved will be notified. We appreciate your support in having a conversation with your child about this school policy and helping us maintain a positive, focused learning environment for everyone.

2025/26 Learner Profile: Over the next couple of weeks we will begin creating classes lists for next year.  During class selection we take into consideration academic strengths and challenges, social emotional strengths and challenges, the mix of students and teacher’s strengths when placing students. The process of placing kids is very thought out as we want to ensure we have a heterogeneous mix of students in each class. While you can make  specific teacher requests I can not guarantee you students will be placed with a specific teacher.  Learner Profile  needs to be submitted no later than April 25th.

Enrollment and Withdrawal: We’re looking forward to a successful 2025/2026 school year. However, we recognize that some families may be exploring alternative educational options. If your child will not be returning to STEM next year, please complete the STEM Withdrawal Notification Form as soon as possible. This advance notice is crucial for our planning and resource allocation. Remember, this form initiates the process; you’ll also need to complete enrollment at your child’s new school. Thank you for your cooperation!
