Dear Elementary School Families,
I cannot believe that we are in the final four weeks of school. This year has flown by. It has been amazing watching all of the students grow this year. The final weeks are always filled with fun and excitement but it is important to remind our students that we are still learning and our behavior expectations are still the same as they have been all year. Please remind your student(s) of our Spartan characteristics: honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility and empathy, and how they can continue to uphold these characteristics during the final weeks of school.
Book Fair Volunteers: Our spring book fair will be May 2nd -May 9th. We need volunteers to help us run the book fair smoothly. Please take a look at the volunteer openings and sign up for one or more spots.
Enrollment and Withdrawal: We’re looking forward to a successful 2025/2026 school year. However, we recognize that some families may be exploring alternative educational options. If your child will not be returning to STEM next year, please complete the STEM Withdrawal Notification Form as soon as possible. This advance notice is crucial for our planning and resource allocation. Remember, this form initiates the process; you’ll also need to complete enrollment at your child’s new school. Thank you for your cooperation!
Lost and Found: Our lost and found is beyond overflowing. Please come and look for your students’ belongings before summer break. All items in the lost and found will be donated to children in need at the end of the school year.
Family Game Night: Student council is hosting a Family Game Night on Friday May 2nd from 4-7pm. Families can rent games and purchase pizza for dinner. Cash only please! Come join us for an evening of food, family, friends and fun. Hope to see you there.
Field Day: Field day is Thursday May 8th for all of K-5. This is a change from previous years. . This year our students will be partnering with their buddy grades for field day out on our playfield. The schedule for the day is listed below.
- K/3rd – 8:15-9:45am
- 1st/4th – 9:50 – 11:20am
- 2nd/5th – 12:30 – 2:00pm
To make check in easier, if you will not enter the building on field you do not need to check in with the front office and can proceed to the playfield. If you plan on entering the building for any reason you will need to check in with the front office for a visitors pass. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Steve Broll (stephen.broll@stemk12.org).
