Director's Update
A message from Mrs. McElroy, Elementary School Director
November 24
Dear STEM Families,
As we reflect on the many things for which we are thankful, I want to take this opportunity to share a few things we are thankful for at STEM. We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn – they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. We are thankful for the support of our parents in creating an outstanding partnership with our teachers to best support our students. We are thankful for the teachers, instructional assistants, health assistants, office assistants, the nurse, cafeteria staff, custodians, student support team, teacher support team and administrators who really care about student achievement and have the best interests of our students at heart. I hope everyone spends the next week relaxing and spending time with family and friends.
I would like to share one celebration before we go on break; we reach our goal of creating 50 Thanksgiving Food Baskets. Food baskets were delivered to Doull elementary school on Wednesday. As a reward for meeting our goal, we held a quick assembly on Friday where Ms. J and myself were duct taped to a wall while wearing turkey costumes. Everyone had a blast. Be sure to check social media for the video.

We will be selling our Candy Cane Message December 2nd through the 12th. Student council members will be delivering your compliments
