Alyssa Woodward joined STEM in the Fall of 2020 as the High School Counselor. She earned her first Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Human Development, and her second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University (2015). She earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in December of 2019.
Prior to joining STEM, she was the website/social media manager and personal assistant at the Wickam Group in Loveland, Colo., while she was going through school. She also served as a program director at BASE Camp Child Care Agency in Fort Collins, Colo., from August 2016 to May 2018. Her counseling experience includes a 600-hour school counseling internship at Cherokee Trail High School and Sierra Middle School, a 6-week school counseling practicum through Denver Public Schools, a semester-long counseling practicum at the University of Northern Colorado, a 240-hour internship at the Early Childhood Center at Colorado State University and a 100-hour practicum at Denver Health Medical Center.
She and her husband enjoy hiking and mountain biking with their two dogs in Colorado’s beauty.
