At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
Carlie Kmak joined the STEM Highlands Ranch staff in October of 2022. She began her career as a middle school EA supervising study halls, lunches and driveline. Later on in the year, however, she moved positions and became an in-house substitute assisting K-12 teachers. With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in elementary education, she decided to continue her career at STEM by taking on a Kindergarten position for the 2023-2024 school year.
In her freetime, Carlie enjoys being active outdoors. She loves to run long distances, hike 14ers, and camping with her family. Her goal for this year is to have a happy and loving classroom where students want to be and where learning thrives.
