Christina Wu

My Bio

Christina Wu joined the STEM Leadership Team in May of 2021 as the Secondary Assistant Director, and was then promoted to the Director of Student Support role at the start of the 2021-22 School Year. Prior to joining STEM, she was a school psychologist for 15 years in Jeffco Public Schools, Douglas County School District, and Littleton Public Schools.

Before becoming an educator, she was a software consultant for Deloitte & Touche and Oracle (formerly JDEdwards). During this time she was mentoring at-risk youth and volunteering her time with Junior Achievement. Because of these experiences, she discovered a new calling and decided to transition into Education. Her passion is now working with kids, and she is a huge proponent for stronger mental health supports and services in the school setting.

She is excited to begin her journey at STEM Highlands Ranch with her plan to support the school’s students, staff, and parents as much as possible. Her role will be focused on supporting mental health, Special Education, Gifted/Talented, English Language Learners, and the MTSS Framework.

She is a graduate of the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin and has a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management Information Systems (MIS) degree, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, and her Principal Licensure in the Educational Leadership program from Regis University.

She also has been a Nationally Certified School Psychologist since 2006. She has lived in Colorado for the past 20 years, and along with her family keeping her busy, she enjoys hiking, baking, traveling and trying new restaurants in her free time.
