Enrichment at STEM includes after-school care, clubs and activities.
Erik Jacobson joined the STEM fourth-grade team in August of 2017. Before joining STEM, he was an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher trainer in Japan. Prior to that, he taught EFL in Poland, Thailand and Vietnam. He is constantly striving to create and maintain a supportive classroom community, one in which students support each other to reach their full potential. When he’s not in the classroom, you’ll find him playing bass guitar in a rock band and spending time with his family, including his baby daughter.
He has a Bachelor’s in English (creative writing) from Colorado State University, a Masters in Education from Adams State University, and master’s level diplomas and EFL certificates from Cambridge University. He enjoys hiking, PC gaming, traveling and learning about audio mixing and recording.
