Jessica Bates joined the STEM Secondary Math Team in August of 2021. Before joining STEM, she taught for 13 years in Colorado and Oklahoma, teaching math courses from 6th grade to college. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with both a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.
Jessica is originally from Colorado, although she has lived in 4 different states and is happy to be back in her home state! She loves the mountains and spends as much time there as she can. Jessica also enjoys crocheting, reading and spending time with her family and cat.
