Lisa Wharton joined the STEM team in August of 2021 as the Secondary Online Teacher.
She earned an M.A. in Spanish, with minors in Education and Sociology in 2012. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Italian and History from Michigan State University in 1996, and completed her secondary teaching certification program from Western Michigan University in 2003.
She has worn many hats in her educational career and always strives to help her students learn and laugh.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, visiting with friends and family, and watching movies.
