Enrichment at STEM includes after-school care, clubs and activities.
I have lived in Colorado for two-thirds of my life and would not want to live anywhere else! I went to school right here in Douglas County and graduated from ThunderRidge High School. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in English from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. During my time there, I ran an after-school tutoring program for middle and high school students. It was there that I first discovered I wanted to work with students and encourage them in their learning.
I started at STEM in the fall of 2012, and have loved being a part of the amazing growth STEM has experienced over the years. As Enrichment Director, I enjoy working with kids and helping to provide them opportunities to explore their passions and gifts, while learning new skills! I love my job because, not only do I get to work with our students from Kindergarten all the way up to their Senior year, but I get to watch them excel in a variety of activities from Fencing to Drama to Athletics to Robotics! We have some of the best kids at STEM.
In my free time, I love to cook, work in the garden, read, hike, and spend time with my husband and new baby.
