At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
I have been the Elementary Learning Support Specialist since January of 2023. I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2018 with my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading. I then got accepted into Teach For America and was placed in Phoenix, Arizona. While in Arizona I attended Arizona State University and got my masters in Special Education. I wrote and published a children’s book with my sister called Scottie on the Space Station. It is a book about my brother Scottie who has an intellectual disability. Scottie on the Space Station teaches young children that they have the power to make the universe a more inclusive place with a simple “hello”. (Scottie on the Space Station can be found on Amazon) I enjoy Hiking with my two dogs and fiancé, snowshoeing in the winter, paddle boarding, reading, traveling to visit friends and family, and trying to visit all the National Parks in the US!
