Check-In with Ms. Kovalesky

Hello STEM Families,

Welcome back to another exciting year! As we kick off the 2024-2025 school year, we want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those who are joining us for the first time. This week was filled with joy and enthusiasm as students reconnected with our staff and friends.

We are delighted to share that the majority of our amazing staff returned. We welcomed 8 new teachers and 7 new staff members to our STEM team this year. We hope that you will attend our Back to School Nights next week to meet your school administrators, child’s teachers, and members of the student support team and all of the countless others dedicated to supporting our STEM students.

Parent Involvement Opportunities

Schools are most successful when parents are involved in their child’s education and school. We encourage parents to stay involved and informed. Please take the time to read our weekly school newsletters and communications from your child’s administrator and teachers. Join a parent working group, task force, and/or committee, such as PTO or SAC. Attend school-related after-school activities and/or events, such as Back to School, STEM Blast-Off, club, and/or sports events. Consider volunteering on campus doing things such as, working in a classroom, cafeteria or driveline.

Please see our website for more information on these opportunities.

Our first week with students has been a tremendous success. Students participated in rotation stations, assemblies, and community-building activities throughout the week. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with learning, growth and community spirit.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
