At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
STEM School Highlands Ranch is a Douglas County School District Charter School and operates under the Enrollment Calendar of the District. For general Open Enrollment guidance through Douglas County, please visit DCSD Open Enrollment.
Our doors are open every Wednesday at 10 a.m. for tours. There is no need to sign up. Just meet in the Secondary School Lobby. We ask that you arrive about 10 minutes early, so the group is ready to go at 10 a.m.
You will need to have your driver’s license to have a visitor badge made. Because we offer the weekly tour on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., we do not provide on-going shadowing opportunities. Please check our website for school holidays, closures or other reasons the Wednesday tour might be canceled.
STEM School Highlands Ranch accepts names for enrollment via our waitlist throughout the year. On December 1, we begin to pull students off of the waitlist for enrollment for the upcoming school year. Enrollment is based on grade level availability.

It’s that time of year! We’re starting to prepare for the 2023-24 School Year and we need our CURRENT STEM Families to complete the Intent to Return/Not Return process.
This information will help our Leadership Team plan for the new school year as it pertains to budgeting, facility use, staffing and more. This process also helps us to know how many new students we will have openings for in the upcoming school year so that we can invite students off our waitlist.
Please complete the form via the button below for each of your CURRENTLY ATTENDING STEM students so that we know your student is either returning or not returning to STEM. Completing the form does not require your student to attend STEM for next year should you change your enrollment plans.
