At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
Rachel Addison is starting her third year as a fifth grade teacher at STEM. Prior to joining STEM, she had the unique opportunity through an independent contract to teach a pod of students ranging in grades from PreK- 4th grade. She immensely enjoys working with elementary school kids. Some big focus points for her are creating a positive classroom community, giving students choice and exploration with their learning and making learning relevant to the students’ lives. She is a Colorado native and has a bachelor’s in Elementary Education from The University of Colorado Denver. When not in the classroom, she loves to internationally travel, paddleboard, and spend time with her boyfriend & two dogs Cooper and Willow.
