Michelle Montour joined STEM for the 2023-24 school year, teaching 6th Grade Social Studies. Before joining STEM, she taught at a STEM High School in Brighton, teaching various history classes.
She enjoys teaching history and providing an alternative outlook on history, which is not often spoken about. She enjoys teaching different people’s perspectives on historical events. For every historical event, there are multiple perspectives not spoken about. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her History Degree in 2002 and her Master’s Degree in 2008.
She enjoys attending concerts and soccer matches. Following soccer tournaments in the U.S. and Europe. She enjoys reading fiction and nonfiction books and binging the newest T.V. show on Netflix.
