As we approach Homecoming week, our Fall sports teams are plunging ahead. We are returning to full strength from illness and injury and are entering league play. League games are important as we can win league championships and get higher seedings for playoffs.
Boys Soccer has really been playing hard. They have pushed some very strong teams right to the end of games. The team is improving with every game and plays next AT Marcy Park on Sept. 25th VS. Mile High Academy. The JV plays on Sept.26th AT Skyview Academy.
Cross Country has several meets under their belts now, and our runners are setting personal bests left and right. The team competed in the Littleton Lions Classic last week along with the Middle School Cross Country team. The next meet is the Goddard Viking Challenge on Sept.26th for the Middle School and the Dave Sanders Invite at Clement Park on Sept.27th for the High School team.
Girls Volleyball has been busy with tournaments and games. After a tough outing at the D’Evelyn tournament where they faced illness and injuries, the team came roaring back to earn an overall 7-3 record after defeating Poudre Academy on Sept.18th. They play again Sept.25th against Ascent AT STEM.
Boys Golf has played in a few matches, performing well but coming up short of winning. The young team is getting some much needed match play experience and will continue to improve.
eSports has also begun their season of play. Our Smash Brothers Gold team defeated Maxwell High School 3-0.
Middle School Girls Basketball registration will close on Sunday, Sept. 22nd! Please register before then. If we do not have enough players to make a team all registrations will be refunded.
