Fall sports are coming to an end! Our girls Volleyball team finished the season with a tough loss at home on Wednesday. The girls designated the game as their PINK OUT game and went all out to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. They decorated the gym in PINK and had a bake sale, which raised over $300! The team also recognized their only senior player and the seniors on the other team. The managers were also recognized as they were both seniors. The girls finished 5th in the Confluence League standings. Good season, ladies.
Boys Soccer is also finished with their season. The team worked through a change in coaching and multiple injuries. They played hard every game and set themselves up for next season with players who have some excellent experience.
Girls Cross Country had a good year. We just missed qualifying one runner for the state meet. I can’t wait to see how the girls develop next year!
Boys Cross Country finished 4th in our Region and qualified for the State meet on Saturday, 10-28-23, in Colorado Springs at the Norris Penrose Events Center: 1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd. 80905. The team runs at 12:20. GO SPARTANS!!!!!
Registration is now live for Boys High School Basketball! Make sure you get registered, paid through MyScool Bucks, and have your current physical before practices start.
Middle School boys basketball registration is filling up fast! We plan to close registration on Wednesday, Nov. 1, or when the teams are full. Get signed up now!
The season begins in early January and ends in mid-March and is run by HRCA. There will be a minimum of one practice per week at an HRCA Rec Center and a game on Saturdays. Depending on interest and availability, we may schedule additional practices at STEM.
PRACTICE DAY/TIME and GAME TIMES and COACHES WILL NOT BE KNOWN UNTIL THE LEAGUE IS FULL, most likely in late Nov/Dec time frame. Competitive or Recreation leagues will be determined based on registrees. We will also be seeking volunteer coaches.
Go Spartans!
