Donations will enable Enrichment to provide much-needed program scholarships for STEM families in need of financial assistance, update equipment, like Spike Prime kits for our First LEGO League, and offset expenses for our low to no-fee clubs and activities, like Battle of the Books and Craft Club. 2024 Enrichment STEMies

To complete the 2023-2024 school year at STEM School Highlands Ranch, Enrichment is celebrating the tremendous contributions and accomplishments of our K-12 clubs, the staff, and volunteers that mentor, advise, and coach our extraordinary STEM students to achieve greatness.

Please join us on Friday, May 17, in the secondary Gym (use Athletic Entry), from 5-7 p.m.

  • Opening – ES Advanced Choir Sings
  • Intro to the STEMies and a highlight reel of Enrichment moments.
  • 5:15 – 5:25 p.m. –  Elementary STEMies & Highlights
  • 5:25 – 5:30 p.m. –  Fencing Academy of Denver Fencing demo
  • 5:30 – 5:45 p.m. –  MS STEMies and Highlights
  • 5:45 – 6 p.m. – HS STEMies and Highlights
  • 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. – We Speak Robot – Enrichment Robotics Programs K-12
    • STEM Varsity Robotics Seniors Banners Presentation
    • BEST/FRC/FLL Volunteers Acknowledgement
    • Team trophies, banners and highlights

Summer Camps Opportunities

STEM School is hosting a variety of camps this summer. The availability is based on student grade level in the 2024-2025 school year and the camps open to all area students. See specific details below.

Camp Invention Introducing our all-new 2024 Camp Invention experience!

June 3-7, 2024, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Give your young innovator an inspiring, action-packed summer adventure! Exciting, hands-on challenges will spark curiosity and build their confidence as they jump into limitless STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fun with opportunities to imagine, experiment and create. Available to incoming 2024-25 K-6th grade students.

PALS Summer Chess Camp ST STEM School

June 17-21, 2024, multiple schedule options

PALS Chess Academy Colorado’s best-trained chess coaches, who are passionate about teaching children and fostering a safe, fun and encouraging learning environment. PALS Chess Academy summer camp will work with ALL levels of chess players, from beginners who don’t know how the pieces move, to advanced players. Every year since 2014, PALS Chess Academy students have consistently scored in the top 5% at the annual Colorado State Scholastic Chess Championship with numerous state champions. Available to incoming 2024-25 K-12th grade students.

Fencing & Jedi Training Summer Camps – Off-campus

The Fencing Academy of Denver with their outstanding coaches are their Fencing/Jedi Combo Camp with a variety of options. This is an ALL DAY camp held Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm. The combo camp will be divided into two camps with the Fencing Camp from 9am -12pm and the Jedi Training from 1pm – 4pm. All fencing camps are held at the academy’s fencing facilities.

LEGO Robotics Summer Camp – All Proceeds Support STEM FRC Team Impulse!

June 10-14, 2024, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Calling all incoming 2024-25 4th-6th graders with an interest in LEGO robotics and programming! Join us this summer for an exciting camp hosted by STEM High School FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team Impulse to introduce a younger generation to the world of LEGO Robotics.

Girls’ Persist 30-Day Summer Camp

June 3-28, 2024, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Our evidence-based STEM leadership program is designed to assist adolescent girls with problem-solving and decision-making while developing STEM persistence. The program uses the proprietary Learn-it, Lead-it, and Perform-it framework to support self-confidence, critical thinking skills, and decision-making while influencing overall STEM persistence. Available to incoming 2024-25 5th-12th grade students.
