Classes start the week following fall break. There is still plenty of space in each of the clubs. A limited number of scholarships are available each quarter for families in need of financial assistance. Contact ashley.westfall@stemk12.org for more information.

Mountain Performing Arts Programs at STEM

New programs starting in November, including a play just for K-2 students! Registration is also open for the spring production of The Little Mermaid and the Hip Hop dance class.

Poms & Cheer (K-5th) – November 7 – January 16th

Thursdays 2:30-3:30

Energize your child’s afternoons with our exciting and dynamic Poms & Cheer club! Designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and promote physical activity, this engaging after-school program allows young participants to explore the world of dance and cheerleading in a fun and supportive environment. Winnie the Pooh (K-2nd) – November 13 – January 29

Wednesdays 2:30-3:30

Be a part of the show – Students will be coached in a medley of songs and scenes from Winnie the Pooh. Students will learn acting techniques, singing, dancing, and stage movement. In addition, we will memorize lines, understand scene work and the importance of working as a group. Our only requirement – your excitement and willingness to learn! No experience necessary! The class will culminate in a presentation for family and friends. Register

The Little Mermaid (3rd-5th grades) – February 5 – April 16

Hip Hop Club (K-5th) – January 30 – April 3

This upbeat class will get your child moving to the latest moves. The class is designed for beginners. Paramount to class is respect for one another and each student’s expression. Students will develop musicality, creativity, and coordination through Hip Hop, break dancing, and dance games. Register

MS Brain Bowl is BACK!

Interest meeting Tuesday, October 8th from 3:00 – 3:45 PM in room 230 (Mr. Voorn’s room)

Brain Bowl is a trivia competition for middle school students.  At the competition, students work in teams of 5 to buzz in with correct answers as fast as possible while competing against other schools from Colorado.  Brain Bowlers need to love trivia, watch Jeopardy, and demand that Trivial Pursuit gets played on every family game night.
