Mark your calendars for STEM's Career Discovery Day
Attention STEM Spartans! Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 24th. During ACCESS, we will have industry partners visiting our campus to share with our 7th through 12th-grade students. The event is your opportunity to ask questions and engage in enlightening conversations with professionals across all industries, including aerospace/ aviation, health care, security, engineering, and more. Keep an eye on your email for sample questions and a list of attendees to help prepare you for the day. Please reach out to Nicole Ryan at nicole.ryan@stemk12.org with any questions.
Halloween Costume Guidelines
- Costumes that would otherwise violate the Student Dress Code Policy will only be allowed if approved by an administrator prior to wearing them to school.
- For safety reasons, masks or makeup should not cover the student’s face in a manner that makes the student unrecognizable.
- Toy or facsimile guns or weapons (knives, swords…) are not allowed.
- Costumes that are overly graphic, promote violence, or otherwise might logically be assumed to be offensive to others are not acceptable.
- Costumes should not include items with sound effects, lights, or other components that would disrupt the classroom learning environment

Tutoring during access in MS and HS commons
Our Math Society students are volunteering to assist with math homework during access periods (11-11:40 a.m.) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Help will be available in both the Middle School and High School commons. Students who need support or want to catch up on homework should feel free to take advantage of this opportunity. Students should contact either their math teacher or access teacher to add their name to the list for help.
