Our STEM Board of Directors took part in annual BOD Training with facilitator Jen Dauzvardis today at STEM. The team learned more about how a Board works together, what are the responsibilities of the Board, what they want to focus on moving forward as a governing body, as well as all the legal ins and outs of a Board. The team also discussed best practices for improving communications, as well as what can be shared and what cannot be shared with the community.
STEM’s legal counsel also presented to the team about Tabor, responding to personnel matters and Open Meeting Laws. The eight-member board is developing next steps and hopes to have more information to share with the community soon.
