About Ms Logue

Hello!  My name is Christine Logue and I an excited to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year!  I am entering my 16th year of teaching.   I am very excited for this new hybrid and online learning journey with your children!

I grew up in a small farming community in Northeast Ohio and graduated from Marlington Local Schools. I loved playing volleyball in middle and high school.  I also was very active in choir, band and colorguard.  I love sports, especially college and pro football.  Though I love Denver teams, I still faithfully root for my Browns, Cavs and Indians!

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History.  In 2004 I earned a Master’s of Arts in Education with a focus in Literacy and Early Childhood Education from Baldwin Wallace University.  I currently hold a CO teaching license in Early Childhood Education, a Reading K-12 Specialist endorsement, and a Large Center Director Qualification letter.

This is the 4th state my husband and I have made our home in.  We moved here in 2011 after having lived in Portland, Oregon for 7 years.  We have 3 children, our son carter who is 12, and our identical twin daughters, Lila and Callie who are 7.  I love being active with my family.  We enjoy camping, swimming, traveling, and going to the theater and the movies.  I am also a den leader for my daughters’ cub scout pack and a volunteer for my son’s boy scout troop.

Please note that the Counseling Department is available during remote learning. They can be reached via email from 7:30am to 3:30pm.  If you or someone you know is having an emergency, dial 911 or contact Safe2Tell.
