Kathy Dwyer is a Secondary Instructional Coach who joined the STEM School HIghlands Ranch Team in August of 2014 as a part time member of the Learning Support Services department. She decided to return to full time teaching in the classroom as a Middle School Science teacher in 2016. She loved teaching 7th Grade Science for 7 years. Kathy is very excited in her 10th year at STEM to begin her new role as a Secondary Instructional Coach.
Prior to joining STEM, she taught high school and middle school Science, Geography and English for over 11 years in Australia.and enjoyed being able to be a full time mom when she and her family moved to Colorado in 2003. Previously she worked part time remotely for a California based recruiting company and assisted running her husband’s IT contracting company both in Australia and in the US.
She has a bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Griffith University (Australia) and a Graduate Diploma of Education from the University of Queensland (Australia) .
Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband and four children and has loved watching her kids grow up in the USA. She loves all water sports, volleyball, hiking, gardening, traveling and watching her children play sports and their other activities.
