My Bio

Ms. Kovalesky grew up in New Jersey and moved to Tucson, Ariz., to attend the University of Arizona. It was there that she started her career and a family. After teaching for 11 years she earned her Master of Arts in Educational leadership at Northern Arizona University and began serving in a leadership capacity in the Marana Unified School District.

After many wonderful weekend getaways to Denver, Ms. Kovalesky relocated to Colorado in June of 2019. Within weeks of her move and with much enthusiasm, she joined our STEM family.

Ms. Kovalesky is now in her third year with STEM Highlands Ranch, serving as the Elementary School Director. Her passion and joy comes from supporting her staff and creating partnerships with families to ensure the social and academic growth of our students.

In her free time, she enjoys all the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer, visiting friends and family around the US, and time with her son and two pugs.
