At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
Melanie FitzRoy has been with STEM School Highlands Ranch since 2017, serving in various roles, including elementary and middle school EA, in-house substitute, and substitute coordinator, before stepping into her current role as Enrichment coordinator in 2022. Before her time at STEM School, Melanie was a stay-at-home mom for ten years.
In her B.C. (before children) era, Melanie spent seven years working for Tower Records as an art director and an intern for Universal/MCA, where she directed a team of artists to create larger-than-life in-store billboards, rubbed elbows with rock and roll legends such as Keith Richards, Weezer, and INXS and attended more concerts than she can remember.
As a third-generation Colorado native, Melanie teases her husband that although he has lived in Colorado for more than 40 years, it still doesn’t make him a Native.
