At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
Steve Broll or Coach B, as the students know him, joined STEM in August of 2016 as a K-12 Physical Education teacher. Since 2017 he has been the Elementary Physical Education teacher and before that spent four years working with students who had severe special needs for Douglas County and Littleton School Districts. He has also coached High School Football and Track in Douglas County for years as well. His passion is working with kids and helping them learn and experience working with others through Physical Education.
Coach B is married to a wonderful wife named Sarah, who is a history teacher at Douglas County High School. He also is a proud father of a three-year-old named Peyton, who loves dinosaurs, king kong and football.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science: K-12 Physical Education Emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado and earned his teaching credential through UNCO as well. Coach B enjoys football, movies, traveling, grilling and podcasts.
