At STEM School Highlands Ranch we put innovation at the center of learning to unleash the potential of all students and prepare them for an exponentially changing world.
Steve Broll, affectionately known as Coach B by his students, has been a dedicated member of the STEM faculty since August 2016. Initially joining as a K-12 Physical Education teacher, he has focused exclusively on Elementary Physical Education since 2017. Prior to his tenure at STEM, Coach B spent four years working with students with severe special needs in the Douglas County and Littleton School Districts. He also has extensive experience coaching high school football and track in Douglas County.
Coach B holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science with a K-12 Physical Education emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado, where he also earned his teaching credential. His passion lies in working with children, helping them learn, and fostering teamwork through physical education.
Steve is married to Sarah, a history teacher at a Douglas County high school, and they are proud parents of a five-year-old named Peyton, who enjoys dinosaurs, Star Wars Legos, and football. In his free time, Coach B enjoys football, movies, traveling, grilling, and listening to podcasts.
