Vinaya Raigaonkar joined STEM as an Elementary Instructional Assistant in September of 2021. She moved to the In-House Sub team last year and currently continues working as an In-House Substitute teacher (K-12). She loves working and supporting everyone at STEM and also enjoys connecting with students of different age groups, from K to12, through subbing opportunities in different grades and classrooms.
Recently, in February 2024, Vinaya completed her MS degree program in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. She graduated from the University of Pune, India, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology previously and also earned two certificates of postgraduate diplomas, one in Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Pune, India, and another one in Pre-Primary Teaching from the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, India.
Before joining STEM, Vinaya worked as a lead Pre-K teacher in different Preschools. She is a passionate educator who is engaged in different social, educational, and community work, and she especially advocates values-based education with a holistic approach. She is presently volunteering as one of the lead coordinators at a non-profit organization that promotes character-building, leadership, and a spirit of selfless service through its programs.
Vinaya always does her best to build a safe, joyful, and conducive learning environment for students, promoting great virtues and high expectations with a holistic attitude when she is subbing/ teaching. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, loves to travel, and enjoys watching movies.
