Last year, STEM’s Board of Directors formally adopted and approved STEM’s Strategic Plan.
In order to keep our community informed of our progress, we held a Strategic Plan Town Hall on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 6-8 p.m. via Zoom. See below for the recap of the evening’s events.
Learn About the Strategic Plan
Achieve Community Alignment around the Strategic Plan
One of our Strategic Plan Goals is to Achieve Community Alignment around the Strategic Plan. The annual Town Hall helps us to achieve that goal. Part of this goal includes creating a Network of Charter Schools and replicating the STEM School Instructional Model.
STEM will be submitting an application to DPS in March for consideration. To accompany that application, STEM needs to gather feedback from its flagship (STEM School Highlands Ranch) school community. Please click the button below to take a survey to help us collect that data.
Building Trust within Parent Community
This goal was created because we want everyone to feel Trust and Trusted. By creating a community of Collective Efficacy, we are building a shared responsibility of common trust.
Teacher Care Model
This goal was created because we want to create authentic systems that attract and retain high-caliber teachers. Taking care of our teachers is crucial. There is a nationwide shortage of teachers and creating a teacher-care model that promotes growth and support, is important so that our students have a teacher they love.
