CCBWQA - Regional Science Fair Award
Congratulations to Tia Swein and Akhniyet Makhsat on their science award from the Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority (CCBWQA) at the Regional Science Fair. For several years the Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority has sponsored an award at the Science Fair and the CCBWQA Board of Directors appreciates and enjoys getting to hear about the project from the students. Gitanjali Rao earns Prudential Spirit of Community Award
Congratulations to STEM student Gitanjali Rao on being selected as Colorado’s top High School youth volunteer in the 2021 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. She will receive a $2,500 scholarship, an engraved silver medallion and a virtual celebration along with the other 101 State Honorees. Based on the number of volunteer hours indicated on the application, Gitanjali is also qualified for the President’s Volunteer Service Award, which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country.
