Spartan Cross Country Continues Success at Thornton Invite

2022 Cross Country

The Spartan cross country teams took advantage of some great weather last Friday at the Thornton XC Invitational, with many runners posting season-best times!

Led by Abby Hullinger’s 8th-place-individual finish, the girls’ team placed 7th overall in the JV team standings. For only having 6 girls on the entire team, they are running well!

Lucian Kasperek and Silas Pacheco led the varsity boys to a 13th-place finish out of 23, again with several season-best buoying the team score. The JV boys’ squad, led by Matias Leake-Jara, placed 13th out of 14 teams.

The Spartan harriers are in action again this Friday at the Pat Amato XC Invite in Northglenn, followed by the Confluence League XC Championship race on Tuesday, Oct 11 at Expo Park in Aurora.
