Spartans Post Strong Finish at Dave Sanders XC Invite

Despite missing a few key runners, the Spartan harriers battled hard in some unseasonably warm running weather in the Division 2 section of the Dave Sanders XC Invite at Clement Park on Friday.

Lucian Kasperek led the varsity boys to a 17th place team finish (out of 21 teams), running 18:00. For the JV boys, Nicholas Leake-Jara placed 34th overall, helping them to a 5th place finish.

The girls didn’t have enough runners to post a team score in this meet. Paige McEnerny placed 38th in the JV section, and Abby Hullinger placed 84th in the varsity race.
