Stephanie Hart joined the STEM School Highlands Ranch team in August 2016. She teaches 6th grade Earth Science and has taught other middle school classes and electives. She has a passion for implementing student-centered, hands on learning while helping middle school students learn life skills, real world problem solving, and why we should care for our planet.
Stephanie’s career as an educator started with a Masters of Education: Educational Leadership, Renewal, and Change from Colorado State University and currently has 12 years of teaching experience. Formerly, she worked as a GIS Specialist after earning her degree in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis from Virginia Tech. She originally hails from the suburbs of Philadelphia.
Stephanie, her husband and their two young boys enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling. She is also very passionate about her garden, staying connected with her long distance family, and caring for her dog, cat, and chickens.
