Walking the Beat with Deputy Gabe

Another week is done! It’s not that I don’t like our weeks, I just love the weekends. Did you see the temperatures for this weekend? I can’t wait.
Every week has its rewards and its challenges. This week was no different. Rewarding situations and challenging situations. As I mentioned before, I celebrate the good times and learn from the and ones. I encourage you to do the same.

Last week I wrote about graffiti happening around the bathrooms and other areas. I am not sure if the person that has been doing this read what I wrote last week, but the writing on the walls and other areas increased! We are trying to identify who is doing this, but please, I would like to encourage you to talk to your students about this behavior and the consequences. Remember, this is considered a criminal activity (Criminal Mischief).

On a different note, I also wanted to share with you about the YESS Parents Academy happening on Wednesday, Feb. 15. This Academy is geared toward “anyone raising, mentoring or providing services for any aged child.” The topic of discussion is “Teen Culture and Mental Health.” I hope you can make it. More information is below.

Thank you for your continuous support. Let’s keep working hard to keep our students safe and our campus clean. I am very thankful for having the opportunity to be part of your student’s story. If you have questions, please email me at gabe.uribe@https://stemk12.org, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Enjoy the good weather this weekend.

GO SPARTANS!

Be safe!
