What an action-packed week of basketball! The Varsity is playing their third game of the week tonight AT Addenbrooke Classical at 6 p.m. The JV is playing its fourth game of the week tonight! They are also at Addenbrooke at 4:30 p.m. The JV posted its first WIN of the season Thursday night vs. Mile High Academy. Congratulations JV!!!!! The “C” team played Thursday night against Flatirons Academy as well. The team played hard but came up short in the end.
Next week, the varsity and JV teams play here at AT STEM on Tuesday and Thursday. Arvada comes to visit on Tuesday, and Mile High Academy is here on Thursday. The game on Thursday is also our Senior Night! Please come out and cheer the team on to Victory as we honor our Seniors and the effort they have put in to represent STEM during their High School careers.
Middle School Boys Basketball is humming right along. This week’s schedule is:
- 6th Grade – 12:30 p.m.
- 7th/8th Edwards – 4 p.m.
- 8th Stone – 4 p.m.
All games are played at Eastridge Recreation Center in Highlands Ranch. Good luck boys!

Check out the NEW STEMSpartanAthletics.com website to get all caught up on the latest Spartan Athletics News and Events. The site includes news, scores, schedules, registration links, purchasing tickets online, and more.
Spartan Athletic Tickets Sold Online
Tickets for home Basketball and Boys’ Volleyball will now be sold online through GoFan. Click the button to purchase your tickets online. For basketball, prices are:
- Adults – $6
- Senior/Student/Military – $3
- Season Pass – Adult $40, Family $75 (up to four people)
- STEM Students and Staff are FREE with STEM ID
- DCSD Staff are free with DCSD ID
Volunteers get FREE admission! Passes are good for all regular season basketball home games. All tickets/passes include both JV and Varsity games on same day. Proceeds from tickets go to STEM Athletics to directly benefit our student athletes. Cash will still be accepted, but paperless via GoFan is preferred.
STEM Spartans on Video
Do you have family or friends who can not see their favorite STEM Spartan Athlete compete in person? The STEM Spartans Basketball and Volleyball games will now be available to watch on a phone/computer/TV! Games can be viewed live or recorded (video on demand). This service is available anywhere the internet is available. Not only can you see ALL STEM home games, but any teams with the NFHS network we travel to are available as well! All home games, Varsity and JV are recorded. As a bonus, a portion of subscriptions are returned by NFHS to STEM Athletics to directly benefit our Spartan student-athletes.
