Athletics Update from Mrs. Jones (10/06/23)

Last Call! Time to register for Girls’ Basketball.

Today, Friday, Oct. 6, will be the absolute LAST day to register for Girls High School Basketball! We do not have enough girls currently registered to field a team, so please register ASAP!!!!! Click the button below.

Finally, Fall weather arrives! The cool and crisp morning air means that the Fall sports seasons are getting close to the end of their schedules. This week was a busy one!

Boys Soccer played three games this week. Two of those games were against the 1st and 2nd place teams in the league. Talk about a tough week! The boys played hard but came up short in all three games. The team is fighting to improve and overcome multiple injuries. They play again next week on Monday and Wednesday at David Lorentz Park at 3 p.m.

Girls Volleyball has played three times this week and plays again today at DSST: Conservatory Green. Whew! The Varsity has three wins this week, and the JV has one loss and one victory. Way to play through a tough schedule this week. Good luck tonight, ladies!

Cross Country is racing today at Northwest Open Space in Northglen starting at 12:30 p.m. This is a huge race with lots of schools competing.

Middle School Cross Country is also running today in the Runners Roost #2. The league Championships are next week. Run fast, Spartans!

Boys High School Basketball registration will remain open as we have enough to make teams. Look for information about practices soon.

Middle School Girls basketball will begin practices next Monday at Northridge Rec Center at 3:30 p.m. for both teams. Thank you to all the Coaches who have volunteered to Coach the teams!

Go Spartans!
