COVID Update – Wednesday, Nov. 24 – Second Grade Exposure

Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Second-Grade Families,

We were notified that a second-grade student has tested positive for COVID-19. The student was instructed to move into isolation and remain there until symptoms have gone away.

The student was last at STEM on Wednesday, Nov. 17. If your student was present, they may have been exposed. We ask that you please monitor them for symptoms of COVID.

All second-grade students who are not COVID positive and who do not have any symptoms of COVID can return to STEM on Monday, Nov. 29.

If your student tests positive for COVID-19, please contact our School Nurse, Mallory Jimenez (nurse@ immediately. She will then notify the appropriate STEM Leadership Team members to then initiate our communication process. Ms. Jimenez will then provide instructions on the next steps.

Please reach out to with any questions.

Thank you,
