Director's Updates

A message from Mrs. McElroy, Elementary School Director

Dear Elementary School Families,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones! It is hard to believe that it is already December and that we only have two more weeks (ish) before Winter Break. We look forward to all the fun the next two weeks will bring.

Candy Cane Messages

Student council will be selling Candy Cane Message from now through December 18th. Students, staff and families can purchase a Candy Cane Message for $1 from the front office. Candy Cane Messages will be delivered the last two days before break. All proceeds will go to the elementary student council. Please email Vanessa Sanchez (vanessa.sanchez@stemk12.org) with any questions.

4th/5th Grade Choir Concert

Please join us as the 4th and 5th graders showcase their singing talent. The 4/5 concert will be on Monday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Secondary Gym. Please use the Athletic Entrance. Hope to see you there.

Kindie Showcase and Concert

Kindergarten will have its annual PBL showcase and choir concert on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided after the concert. Hope to see you there.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found is beyond overflowing. Please come and look for your students’ belongings before winter break. All items in the Lost and Found will be donated to children in need during the winter break.

PTO STEMGives Fundraiser

PTO is holding its annual STEMGives Fundraiser Drive from now through January 15th. All money raised from the drive goes back to STEM and our classrooms. Thank you for considering donating to this wonderful opportunity.

Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 6:30-8 p.m. – Zoom

Join the STEM PTO for their monthly meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 6:30-8 p.m. via Zoom.  STEM PTO is comprised of parents from the STEM community who work together to help foster a strong sense of community and provide enhancement activities for students, faculty, staff, and families while also helping to increase educational, social and emotional experiences for the members of their families.

STEM PTO is organized to enhance the quality of each student’s education, the school as a whole, and the entire community through the development of resources and the participation of parents, school staff, and the community. Meetings are open for anyone to attend.

Elementary Lost and Found Reminder

Reminder! Please check your MySchookBucks Account

Our Business Office would like to request that all parents please verify their contact information in MySchoolBucks and update it if needed. Beginning November 20th, families with an outstanding balance will begin to receive late fees. Please reach out to ashley.westfall@stemk12.org with any questions.
