Semester grades are available in the Parent/Student Portal. Grades will be posted to transcripts by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18.  If your student is enrolled in a Concurrent Enrollment class on STEM campus, credit values will be adjusted when the registrar returns in January.

Fourth Grade Holiday PBL Fun

Fourth-grade students in Mrs Gasser’s participated in a full day of Holiday fun. In math they calculated the number of gifts and the cost of the 12 days of Christmas. In social studies they completed a Christmas Escape Room. In science they engineered safety devices for Santa’s sleigh and in Language Arts they watched a movie together and engineered gingerbread houses. BEST DAY EVER (even virtually)!!!!

Third Grade Takes Part in Virtual Sants Escape Rooms

Enrichment Update

Elementary Virtual Book Club

Join us for a fun monthly book club, sharing with other STEM students about our favorite books. We will also have a fun activity that goes with each book’s theme. We will meet on the fourth Thursday, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Zoom. Click HERE for more information.

STEM Spelling Bee Rescheduled to Thursday, Jan. 14

Classroom spelling bees were held on Thursday, November 12, in fourth through eighth grades. Students competed to determine classroom winners and alternates. Classroom winners will compete in a participant and judge only STEM school-wide spelling bee on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 3:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria.
The zoom link will be shared at a future date to view and support our students remotely.

To view your student’s school photo proofs, visit DR Photos and select the link School Portrait Proof. Use your student’s ID number to access their proofs and place any orders that you’d like.

FREE Meals for Hybrid and Virtual Learners from DCSD

DCSD will be providing weekly remote meal bag pick-ups at all neighborhood Middle Schools in Douglas County (pick-up not available at STEM). Meal pick-ups do NOT require pre-order. Simply pull up to our curbside pickup locations and request a meal for kids, just like our Summer Feeding sites. Kids do not need to attend DCSD Schools and do not need to be present for pickup.
