FLL Challenge Teams Compete in first Qualifier Tournament since 2019!
STEM 4th/5th grade students had an excellent time at the First LEGO League South Metro Qualifier on November 18th held at Chatfield High School. All the teams did great, improving their scores with each attempt and learning how a professionally judged tournament is run. Our very own Banana Splits won the Judges’ Award!! The judges cited their humor, personality, and team spirit, and said that the Splits made their day 😀 The STEM Hackers tied for the top ten, so there’s a bright future for them next year!

Battle of the Books (Grades 3-6) - Teams are decided!
Thank you to all of the students, Mrs. Ackley and Ms. Ayala for participating in this year’s Battle of the Books qualifier quiz. Congratulations to the following students who scored the highest on the book knowledge quiz to qualify for the 3rd/4th Grade Team: Miya P, Shivank M, Vihani K, Aiden F, Akaash A, Anumitha B and Sohum S. The 5th/6th Grade Team: Mrs. Ackley will be contacting students about results and the need for a tie-breaker to decide the final seven team members.
