STEM student to represent Colorado in upcoming U.S. Open Chess Championship

Congratulations to STEM’s Chess Team for winning the Colorado State Chess Championship this month.
For the second time, STEM student Vedant Margale brought back the State Title!
This was all for The Annual State Scholastics Tournament held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds.
Vedant also earned the right to represent the State of Colorado this Summer at the National U.S. Open Chess Championship in Michigan.

STEM holds first ever pep rallies in new CHSAA gymnasium

Our Wish Week is underway and we are so grateful to have our new and beautiful CHSAA gymnasium to host several of the planned events. Friday morning, we held our school’s first ever pep rally inside the new gym and our students and staff loved every minute of it!
Teachers took part in a variety of games including a challenging foot race across the length of the gym and students were informed of all the exciting events to come.

Thanks to “Scooter” and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit for leading the way in Friday’s routine inspection and Secure Perimeter Drill on campus.
Scooter put in a lot of hard work along with his team and ended the inspection with a round of applause from students and staff at the pep rally. Thank you DCSO for helping keep our school safe!

STEM Shares Clothing Drive brings in thousands of items

A big thank you to all of our STEM families for participating in the STEM Shares Clothing Drive hosted by Student Advisory!
Congratulations to Ms. Mau’s class who had the most
donations from Elementary School and Ms. Dillon’s class who had the most donations from Middle School. Thanks to all of your generosity we collected over 4,000 items which were donated to
local shelters and charities.

STEM Science Olympiad teams bring home 13 medals

STEM success at the Colorado Southern Regional Science Olympiad 2023 Tournament!
Our two Middle School Science Olympiad teams placed 2nd and 8th at regionals this week with 13 individual medals.
Congratulations to our teams for all of the hard work and for bringing home more medals for the trophy case!

STEM 1st graders star in promos for "Love of Reading Week"

A special thanks to our brave 1st graders for volunteering to help promote STEM’s “Love of Reading Week”, which goes from Monday, February 27th to Friday, March 3rd.
