STEM's FRC team places in top 10 in Arizona competition

STEM’s FRC team is on fire this weekend in Arizona! So far they’ve placed in the top 10 our of 36 teams and are still going strong. Way to go team! The finals are Saturday, so be sure to wish them luck.

Silas Pacheco represents STEM in wrestling tournament and earns top placement finish

Congratulations to STEM student Silas Pacheco for a great wrestling season! Silas ended the 2021-2022 season with a 5th place finish in the regional state qualifier tournament. He is a second-year letter winner and was awarded 2nd Team all-league (the Centennial League) and first-team academic all-state (CHSAA) which is proudly displayed for us in the photograph below. Silas, you represented STEM well!

STEM students create promo for Computer Science classes and programs

Check out this creative video promo put together by STEM students with the help of Mrs. Basu! The Computer Science department is empowering students to create the world of tomorrow. Teachers are unlocking the opportunities for students in Cyber Patriots, Coding Clubs, PBLs, AI, HoloLens, Innovation challenges, ECybermission competitions, Computer Science Honors Society, Lockheed Coding competition, CS Mines coding competitions, HPCodeWars and Networking. Thank you to Mrs. Basu, Mr.Trichler, Mr. Chacon and Mr. White for everything that they do to innovate technology and bring these experiences to our students

STEM students put on a show for 'She Kills Monsters'

That’s some great acting! ‘She Kills Monsters’ explores themes of youth, relationships with family and grief and loss through comedy. It’s described as a high-octane dramatic comedy full of evil fairies, ogres and 90’s pop culture.
