STEM students suit up for another Revolutionary War Re-enactment practice

Not the ideal weather conditions, but hey, soldiers during The Revolutionary War didn’t have sunshine all the time either! Our students had a great time with today’s practice for STEM’s Revolutionary War Re-enactment. Everyone looks so sharp in those uniforms. There’s no better way to experience history than getting up close and personal with the sights, sounds and the look of the times!

Business Entrepreneur Jack Bonneau inspires STEM Elementary students with presentation about starting a business

Follow your dreams!
That was the message this week from entrepreneur Jack Bonneau, who shared his story of business success with STEM Elementary students.
Jack’s story is pretty incredible. It all started with wanting an expensive Lego set. His father said he could have it, as long as he found a way to pay for it on his own. That gave him the motivation he needed to launch his own lemonade stand. He earned enough to pay for the Lego set, but more importantly, he learned how to become an entrepreneur.
He wasn’t even a teenager when he launched Jack’s Stands and Marketplaces. The business provides kids and their families the opportunity to learn about financial literacy and launching a business.
Since then, Jack’s been featured on Forbes, Shark Tank, The New York Times, The Today Show and has done speaking engagements all over the country. Thank you Jack for visiting with our students and giving them tips and motivation for becoming business leaders!
